I’m a writer. I’ve written some novels: the Wales Book Of The Year award-winning The Testimony; the Clarke and Kitschies shortlisted The Machine; (some of) The Anomaly Quartet, including The Explorer and The Echo; No Harm Can Come To A Good Man; and the Australia Trilogy, which includes the hopefully-soon-to-be-an-awesome-film Way Down Dark. I also write regularly(ish, my bad) for The Guardian and some other places – you might have seen my Rereading Stephen King series.

I’m also a Creative Writing Lecturer at Roehampton University, if you need to know where to find me when I’m not slouching about on Twitter.
